washing up, really feeling the cold today
hands dripping wet 

there’s something about those early mornings, as the sun begins to rise and the world starts to warm up. The dawn chorus of the birds in the sky thrums through the air. People wake and soon you hear their footsteps clattering down the stairs and car doors being slammed.
