Book Review. Teeth in the Back of my Neck by Monika Radojevic.

The subjects of the poems in Teeth in the Back of my Neck by Monika Radojevic include periods, women’s bodies, agency and chronic pain. I love how Teeth in the Back of my Neck can slowly be absorbed, reading the poems and turning them over in my mind and reflecting on what they are saying. These are longer poems, that are gritty and well written. They don’t feel overly edited either, to the point where you are not able to feel the emotions.
