Gary Russell has done the impossible and made me like the Doctor Who TV Movie. It even makes me want to watch the movie for only the second time, because once was enough. I suppose the one positive of the movie is that we get the actor Paul McGann playing Doctor Who. Perfect casting choice. I liked in the book we had a little time with the seventh Doctor, mention of Ace, I liked Chang Lee’s story, I liked Grace’s story, I liked the Master casually adopting paramedic Bruce’s body as his own, I liked the plot and I still have no idea what is going on at the end with the Eye of Harmony. It’s good, entertaining, fun.
